Got word from kittenchan today that one of my professors/advisors passed away. u_u This follows on the heels of Furp's death and Ed's nephew dying last thursday. Right now it looks like we're splitting up to go to different funerals this coming weekend. God this sucks.

>.< Have I mentioned that I hate Christmas? Not for the usual reasons. Not reason's you'd think of unless you know me pretty well, anyway. I hate Christmas because people die during the Christmas season, and I've lost another one.

Mom just called to tell me my Uncle Howard passed away this morning. He was married to my Aunt Ruthie (one of my dad's two sisters). I never got to know him all that well, perhaps because Aunt Ruthie has always been such a "take-charge" person, while he was content to remain in the background. Never have the chance now.

I hate this time of year. Vehemently.
