Um.... I'm just gonna quote Pez, since she did the counting. Concerning the werewolves who eat our brains, we have:
500 pages of research (211,928 words)
1,160 pages of version one (691,543 words)
272 pages of version two (157,886 words)
70 pages of miscellaneous canon (40,221 words)
92 pages of version three (53,526 words)
Now, here's the scary part:
We started this Christmas 2008.
ALL of Version Three has been within less than a month.
Our grand total is, assuming the math is right, 2094 pages and 1,155,104 words.
It... It's a book. Seriously.

So, Pez and I have been writing for just short of six months now. It had gotten so profuse I actually stopped keeping track of just how much we've been writing. Pez did a word count yesterday. It does include our research and backstory files, though not the AIM conversations, txt messages, and things hand-written in notebooks at odd moments (I'm on my third of these now, personally). The current tally frightens me... but I also note I will never, ever think of NaNoWriMo as intimidating again. u_u
Since December, 2008,
tichan and I have written 840,495+ words of research and book material. This is roughly 990 pgs at 12 pt TNR font... or about 3,362 pages in paperback novel format, averaging about 75,000 words apiece each month.

So, weekly update, I guess. c.c;;; Have been writing with
tichan since mid December. Tallies are only for actual pieces of story. This excludes the bazillions of notes and reference files we've also been compiling. These are the numbers from the files I've slapped together on my comp, since most of the actual writing has been done via Googledocs. Googledocs is awesome, but it gets cranky if you go much past 50 pgs in a file, and there IS a filesize limit. We've smacked into it.

OMG, they've eaten my brain x_x
They ate
tichan's brain too. And they want
lannakitty.
Also? Potential working title for a crossover in the misty mists of the future would be "Werewolves Don't Wear Warpaint". XDDDD

Aaaaaugh!
Headpeople scrabbling in my brain. Will not shut up. Screaming like fingernails on a chalkboard. Demanding attention. Won't give me enough info to write for them either. Argh! They keep universe-hopping. Product of over-tiredness, I think. Blegh. It's all mixed up now. Broken, mended, too much information, incoherent. Next thing you know I'll be helping Delirium follow her fish. Insanity does hold a certain charm. Afraid to sleep, too tired to stay awake. Plodding through the days, one after another. There is meaning in the simple things. Grounding, centering. Never in control but trying desperately to hang on to some semblance of it. Filter out the best and ignore the rest. Mayhap the headpeople will let me sleep now. Uncooperative buggers.
